Here’s When Every New Episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Drops

At long last, redemption has come for Percy Jackson. The new Disney+ adaptation of the beloved Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan has arrived, and—unlike the short-lived, much-maligned film series of the early 2010s—this version promises a much more faithful interpretation of Riordan’s vision. (It helps, of course, that Riordan himself had real creative control in this new iteration of Percy’s Camp Half-Blood adventures.) Fans of the books likely already know what awaits them in the coming episodes of season 1, but if reviews are any indication, that knowledge will do little to dull their excitement at seeing those events cinematically realized. Here’s when (and how) to watch.

When do new episodes of Percy Jackson drop?

After the first two episodes premiered December 20, the remaining six episodes will drop weekly on Wednesdays at 3 A.M. ET. through Jan. 31, 2024.

What will the rest of season 1 look like?

A total of eight episodes will follow the events of Riordan’s first book in the series, The Lightning Thief. Those episodes are as follows:

  • Episode 1, “I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher,” streaming December 20
  • Episode 2, “I Become Supreme Lord of the Bathroom,” streaming December 20
  • Episode 3, “We Visit the Garden Gnome Emporium,” streaming December 27
  • Episode 4, “I Plunge to My Death,” streaming January 3
  • Episode 5, “A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers,” streaming January 10
  • Episode 6, “We Take a Zebra to Vegas,” streaming January 17
  • Episode 7, “We Find Out the Truth, Sort Of,” streaming January 24
  • Episode 8, “The Prophecy Comes True,” streaming January 31

How can I watch new episodes of Percy Jackson?

The series is streaming exclusively on Disney+ (another brand tie-in, given that the series was originally published by Disney Hyperion). To watch, you’ll need a subscription, starting at $7.99 per month.
