Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Seen With Sons Rza and Rocky in NYC

On Thursday evening, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were seen in New York City with their sons, RZA and Riot Rose. In photographs published by the Daily Mail, the Fenty Beauty founder and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky carried their kids out of an apartment building on Thanksgiving.

Rihanna wore a brown fur coat over a zippered hoodie and matching sweatpants. On her feet were a pair of black flats covered in silver studs. She accessorized with a pair of black sunglasses and had her blonde hair down and straight.

Rocky was also wearing a black hoodie and black pants while holding the newborn’s car seat. On his feet were colorful Nike sneakers. The rapper recently talked about parenting in an interview with Dazed, specifically values he wants to impart to his kid.

“I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what,“ he said, then added he loves watching cartoons with his son. “I actually love to watch cartoons—I’ve watched like, Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark.”

He continued, “I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents…Things like diversity and versatility are important, and they’ll be embedded in the household.”

Rihanna has also talked about how transformative becoming a parent has been on an episode of the Process with Nate Burleson podcast.

“I’m living for my son. Everything matters now. You really start to take a lot into account,” Rihanna said. “Skydiving?! You really think about stuff like that—it’s not worth it. Everything is different, life before my son seems very obscure. It’s very small and cloudy, it just got better with him. It’s so much hard work but nothing is more fulfilling than that.”
