What Selena Gomez Really Thinks of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Romance
Gigi Hadid spoke out about her real views on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, mentioning that both she and Selena Gomez are supportive of Swift’s new romance despite tabloid reports to the contrary. A source spoke to Entertainment Tonight further about Gomez’s perspective on the relationship and why Gomez is a real fan of Kelce.
The insider also addressed Gomez’s relationship with Hadid, as Gomez made headlines for unfollowing Hadid on Instagram in the summer. (Gomez was briefly romantically linked to Zayn Malik, Hadid’s ex and father of her daughter Khai, in March. She unfollowed Hadid at the same time she unfollowed Malik.)
“Selena and Gigi are in a good spot and have put any past drama behind them,” the source said. “They have both moved on.” The source did not specify what the drama was.
The insider did talk more about why Gomez really likes Swift and Kelce together. “Selena thinks this relationship is the real deal for Taylor,” the source said. “She is a big supporter of her and Travis. Selena and Gigi see how respectful Travis is of Taylor and that he treats her like a queen. They are happy for both of them.”
“So far Travis has proven to be caring, honest, and thoughtful,” the insider continued. “He’s a good listener and communicator, takes her [Swift’s] feelings into consideration, puts his family first, and also respects her passion for what she does.”
The source’s intel debunks a report that Page Six ran on October 30 in which an insider claimed that Gomez was worried Swift was “moving too fast” with Kelce. “Selena thinks Taylor going to games and galavanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her,” the source alleged. “Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena.”
