Grande was also seen out on Saturday night attending a performance of Slater’s Spamalot. Paparazzi captured Grande and Slater leaving the theater together after the show. Grande wore a black puffer coat with white heels. Her blonde hair was in a high ponytail. Footage also surfaced of her watching the show in the theater earlier.

A source spoke to Entertainment Tonighton October 13 about Grande and Slater’s dynamic. Slater is in the process of divorcing his estranged wife Lilly Jay while Grande’s divorce from Dalton Gomez was finalized last month. Slater and Grande were friends and Wicked co-stars before they went on to later date each other.

The source said that Slater and Grande are “on the same page [and] still very excited about their relationship,” amid their divorces. “Ariana thinks Ethan is ridiculously talented, likes that they can relate to each other and that he challenges her; artistically speaking. Ethan wants the best for Ariana and for themselves as a couple. They support and elevate one another.”

Slater is “invested in developing his relationship with Ariana and her family,” along with being “a hands-on dad” to his son with Jay, the source added. “Ariana’s family is of course, protective of her, but as long as she is happy and treated well, they will continue to support their relationship.”
