What do you think you should look for in a facial wash?
Depending on your skin type and troubles, certain ingredients work better than others. “ For acne-prone skin, look for salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide; for aging skin, look for alpha and/or beta hydroxy acids, and those with dry skin should look for added moisturizers such as hyaluronic acid or ceramides,” Dr. Tull explains.

How often and long should you wash your face?
Every day! “Wash your face at least twice a day: in the morning when you wake up and in the evening before you go to bed. If you sweat or get dirty from work or exercise, wash after that as well. The best way to wash your face is the simplest and cleanest way—use just the cleanser, water, and a circular motion with your fingertips,” Dr. Tull adds.
