The countdown to the holiday season has begun. While some folks are itching to break out the decorations and put up a tree, I’m more focused on all the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales just waiting to be shopped. Namely, Nordstrom, a retailer that really knows how to throw down each year. While we don’t know exactly what items or brands will be included in the retailer’s discounted selection, my shopping senses tell me it’s bound to be good. The Nordstrom sale section is a fashion girl’s best friend. With designer names like Bottega Veneta, Prada, and Fendi, plus everyday favorites like Alo Yoga, Skims, and Madewell, you can give your entire wardrobe a refresh this sale season. With the winter chill ahead, maybe it’s time to finally try a Canada Goose jacket. Or, do I dare wonder if the Margiela Tabi boot will get marked down? I’m getting excited just thinking about all the long-time wishlist items that you might finally take home. And I suppose you could grab a few gifts for your loved ones, too, if you feel so inclined.

Is there anything better than the promise of a department store beauty counter? I can practically smell it just thinking about it. However, if you truly want to get the most bang for your buck on beauty deals this holiday season, you’ve got to scour for web exclusives and online sales. Stockroom restrictions be damned. Nordstrom’s home department is an absolute treasure trove. Be it kitchen gifts or home decor, there are so many goodies to be discovered. Grab some blankets and throw pillows from UGG or Barefoot Dreams to give out as gifts. Invest in enough Le Creuset to fill your entire kitchen. Maybe it’s finally time for you to try the Our Place Always Pan, while you’re at it. Who knows what might be included in Nordstrom’s BFCM sale? All I know is that I’m keeping my eyes on the prize: new bed sheets, perhaps from Boll & Branch or Parachute Home.
