Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra Quietly Unfollow Each Other on Instagram After Joe Jonas Divorce

Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra quietly signaled that they are no longer close, following Turner’s ongoing divorce from Joe Jonas. Page Six noted that Chopra and Turner unfollowed each other on Instagram. It’s not exactly clear when it happened, but as of Friday morning, neither is following the other:

However, Turner still follows Chopra’s husband, Nick Jonas; her ex Joe Jonas; their brother Kevin Jonas; and fellow “J-sister” Danielle Jonas. They all follow her back as well.

Turner spoke about her relationship with Chopra and Danielle Jonas in her interview with ELLE in March 2020. Being married to a Jonas Brother, “it’s also nice to have built-in girlfriends, who are actually really cool, who I can hang out with and we can really talk to each other about, like, how crazy the boys’ lives are,” she said. “We can relate on so many different levels. It’s like, thank God, because you never know [about your in-laws].”

“With Pri, especially, it’s kind of crazy,” she continued. “You have to remind yourself that she’s basically had a 20-year career in Bollywood already. She’s like the biggest thing in India right now. When we went there for her and Nick’s wedding, we were treated like royalty. They worship her over there. It’s kinda crazy. But she’s just the nicest person, and they live, like, 10 minutes away. And even though Kevin and Danielle live in New Jersey, we see them all the time. It’s like we’re all one big family, because the boys are best friends.”

Chopra, meanwhile, spoke about her relationship with Turner to ELLE UK in July 2019 before Turner’s wedding to Jonas. “I’ve never had a sister, so it’s really nice to have Danielle and Sophie, and just inheriting the family by proxy,” Chopra said. “Sophie is super talented, super funny, and we have the most fun when we go out together. She’s incredible. By the time this comes out, she’ll be the new Mrs Jonas–I can’t wait for her to join the family.”
