The Skechers x Doja Cat Collaboration Is Here
It’s the most wonderful time of the sartorial year. The time when temperatures fluctuate just enough for us to don layers and style shoes in combinations that are unexpected, chic, and absolutely wearable. So it’s no surprise that this season, the style icon of the moment, Doja Cat, is entering the conversation to help us find our footing.
After joining Skechers late last year as its first-ever Artist-in-Residence, the award-winning performer is releasing her inaugural collection with the footwear brand. “It feels really cool [to be able] to create my own shoe with Skechers. To design something inspired by the iconic sneaker[s] my peers wore back in the day—I feel like I am a part of history,” she says.

Doja Cat reimagines the classic D’Lite sneaker with her newly minted Doja’Lite collection. Launching September 28, all five sneakers are available for $125 a pair and are an artful homage to the original style. Longtime fans will notice the same signature rugged, modern bottom that defined early-2000s fashion, but that’s accentuated with distinct details designed by Doja Cat herself. There are translucent pearlized and marbleized metallic lugged outsoles, premium leathers, snake-embossed patents, and genuine suedes. There is also a distinct color palette, including patent black, off-white, lavender, all-white, and olive green tones.
From early mornings in the office to last-minute date nights, here are five ways to style Doja Cat’s Skechers collaboration this season.
Skechers x Doja Cat: On date night
Take the road less traveled and step into this season’s hottest color: red. A monochromatic faux-leather blazer and pointe pants will make a stylish statement. Keep in mind that you want your pants to hit above the ankle. Since white sneakers will add to your look, you’ll want them front and center.

Give your favorite tracksuit or matching athleisure an infusion of cool with these olive green sneakers. Perfect for airport travel days, this pair of Doja’Lite Premiums flips the script on the traditional sporty sneakers and is a nice departure from classic black or white variations. Don’t love loungewear? Switch gears with a white T-shirt, black flared pants, and a beige collared sweater tied over the shoulders.

Achieving high fashion when heading to work can be a delicate balance.
