Selena Gomez Wore Three Great Minidresses in Paris
Selena Gomez is bringing some major star power—and great minidress inspiration—to the streets of Paris Fashion Week, thanks to her new stylist, Erin Walsh. Gomez has worn three minidresses already during the past two days in Paris.
Gomez’s first dress was black, long-sleeved, and low-cut from Mach & Mach. She paired it with knee-high Casadei boots for a visit to Flowers nightclub on September 26.
The actress brought out her biggest statement dress on September 27. Gomez wore an off-the-shoulder white and black polka dotted dress from Jacquemus with Mejuri silver hoop earrings and Versace slingback heels while out in the city.
Then on Wednesday, for a dinner out with good friend Brooklyn Beckham, Gomez paired a little black bejeweled dress from Versace with slingback heels from the fashion house, Mejuri earrings, a Jacquemus black purse, and an Alexander Wang trench. It’s worth noting that Gomez actually wore the same earrings, shoes, and bag with her Jacquemus dress earlier in the day. See photos of that full look here. Before leaving for Paris, Gomez spoke at Universal Music Group and Thrive Global’s Music & Health Conference about what it’s like being Instagram’s most-followed woman.
“I’ve never really cared about that stuff,” she said. “I suppose I’m grateful for the platform, and I would love to continue to use it for what I’m able to do, but numbers are just numbers.”
When fans tell Gomez how she has helped them through hard times, “it can be a little heavy,” she said. “I feel for people, and I think that’s what kind of keeps me in check, to be honest. I think I can be a little reckless with my emotions and having conversations with young people, women who are going through divorces or going through chemo—it’s not just about me, and I’m fully aware of that. I will just always cherish it. It’s a big responsibility, though. It’s a little scary.”
