Selena Gomez Masters the Art of a Flirty Selfie With a Cat-Eye and High Ponytail
Not every selfie can be sultry, but Selena Gomez mastered the pout and flirty aesthetic with the latest shot she dropped on her Instagram Story.
The singer appears in a sleeveless light blue top with a plunging neckline. Her glam is the rightful focus, with a sharp cat-eye and full pink lip taking center stage. Her eyebrows appear full and laminated, just days before Gomez’s new Rare Beauty eyebrow gel comes out, a product designed to give brows a similar effect without the procedure.
Gomez didn’t provide a beauty breakdown for her look, but her Rare Beauty account did give a look recently at how Gomez styles her own brows with her line’s upcoming gel.
Gomez also announced this week that Rare Beauty will be having the first gala for its Rare Beauty Impact Fund, which raises money to support mental health organizations and increase mental health resource access for young people. As Variety wrote, the fund “has raised over $6 million for its partners, and in 2023 alone, has partnered with the UCLA Friends of Semel Institute, Mindful Life Project, Black Teacher Project, Konscious Youth Development & Service and Trans Lifeline.”
In a statement published by Variety, Gomez said: “There is nothing more important to me than getting young people access to the resources that they need to support their mental health. This is a personal mission and the reason that I created the Rare Impact Fund. I am incredibly proud to host the inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit and look forward to an inspiring night of raising funds for these lifesaving services and showcasing the impact we have made so far.”
The gala is set to take place on October 4 at Nya Studios in Hollywood, California.
