Selena Gomez Endorses Chill Summer Dressing

As Only Murders in the Building‘s third season debuts, Selena Gomez was photographed grabbing lunch at Nobu Malibu with friends. The actress was dressed casually, wearing a white tank with light-wash Ética jeans and sandals. Gomez’s jeans haven’t sold out yet and can be yours too below:

Gomez cannot promote her Hulu series due to the ongoing actors’ strike. However, she did speak to The Wrap in an interview conducted prior to the strike about filming the third season earlier this year.

She spoke glowingly about collaborating with Meryl Streep, saying, “Working with her, for any actor I would assume, it takes your breath away to be around someone who is a part of history, who has paved the way for so many actresses and told so many powerful stories and is recognized for that. And she couldn’t have been more humble, more nice, more, just, adorable. I don’t know how to explain it. She was so sweet to everyone and on time and never looked at her script. It was really inspiring.”

Gomez also addressed how much input she’s had in developing her character Mabel, since she’s also producing the show. “Being an executive producer on this was a lovely surprise,” she began. “Because from the beginning, they were open to the idea of me being a part of creating Mabel. When we had the first discussion of who she was, I had just gotten back from CrimeCon, which is basically a convention where we’re trying to help solve a real cold case. It’s a three-day weekend and I went with my mom. And we just ended up talking about all these different stories of mysteries and the idea of me being into (true crime) as a character. How would I dress? How would I say that? And now, being a part of it, I’m able to say, ‘I don’t feel like that sounds okay.’ Even down to certain scenes. There was one where I thought it was just a little off. Like, we should do something different. Let’s try to make it funnier, let’s try to make it smarter. So I get to do things like that. I trust these people as much as I possibly can, because look at what they’ve created. You don’t want to mess up a perfect recipe, honestly.”
