Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Carter Wore Custom Looks Designed by Pharrell for the Renaissance Tour

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour wardrobe has been full of custom looks, designed by Alexander McQueen to the megastar herself. Now, Louis Vuitton menswear designer Pharrell Williams has joined in the esteemed group of designers, creating a series of custom looks for Beyoncé, her dancers, and even her daughter Blue Ivy Carter for the Detroit stop of the tour. The custom Damier looks feature crystal details, making them literally sparkle in the stage light. Truly fit for a queen, princess, and their court.

Louis Vuitton shared sketches of the looks:

Beyoncé hasn’t yet given an in-depth interview about how she approached the costumes for her tour. She did, however, reflect on wearing her own designs onstage in Amsterdam earlier this summer. Beyoncé rarely ever captions her Instagrams, so it marked a rare statement from her.

She wrote: “I started designing this collection over a year ago. I was so engulfed in all things RENAISSANCE and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie and the disco era. I wanted to do a modern twist using the signature IVY PARK neon and bring disco to the beach in this swim collection. I’m so happy to share this with you and even more proud to launch it for the first time on the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR. I’m proud to be among the very talented Black designers featured in last night’s show to celebrate Juneteenth.”
