Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Celebrate Son RZA’s First Birthday With Adorable Pics

On May 13, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son RZA celebrated his first birthday and on Saturday night his dad gave fans a glimpse into his first year with a carousel of photos on Instagram. In the caption, he wrote, “WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN’ HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN. RZA.”

The post seemed to confirm the boy’s name after his birth certificate was leaked with the moniker RZA Athelston Mayers. The original RZA of the Wu-Tang clan was Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, and the loving parents are clearly fans of the rapper and his stage name. The caption also references a speech made by Wu-Tang band member Ol’ Dirty Bastard who said that “Wu-Tang is for the children” during a Grammys speech in 1998. A$AP included a clip of the moment at the end of his carousel of baby pics to drive the message home.

Some of the photos the proud dad showed him with Rihanna and baby RZA, some are just him and his son enjoying some quiet bonding moments together. In almost all of them, RZA is showing off an adorable smile, looking like a very happy baby.

Soon, RZA will have a sibling. The ANTI singer revealed she was pregnant again during her Super Bowl Halftime show in February, though there has not been any more info released about the gender or due date for her second child. She did tell ET on the red carpet of the Met Gala that her second pregnancy was “so different” from the first.

“No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything’s different, but I’m enjoying it,” she explained.

She added that she was “in love” with her son, saying, “I’m obsessed and I don’t even feel guilty about it.”
