Dua Lipa Casually Drops String Bikini Pics to Promote Her New Book Club

Dua Lipa demonstrated exactly how to give an Instagram thirst trap extra intellectual appeal.

The singer combined bikini pics and book picks in her latest post, featuring a carousel of her favorite reads for her newsletter Service95‘s new book club. Fashion was part of the drop too, of course: Beachwear on display in the photo gallery included an excellent sequined two-piece and a stringy daisy-print swimsuit.

Lipa kept her caption focused on the book: “SERVICE95 BOOK CLUB!!!” she shared. “Ever since I can remember, anywhere I go I take a book with me. Reading is an incredibly important part of my life and one of my biggest joys. I’m so excited to start the @service95 Book Club where we can share that joy of discovery with each other. Each month, we’re going to go deep on our Book of the Month with author interviews, features that add context about the book, recommended further reading and so much more! I’m so excited to read along with you.”

Books on display in the carousel include: One Hundred Years of Solitude, what appears to be A Thousand Splendid Suns, A Fine Balance, On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous, Girl, Woman, Other, Shuggie Bain, Swimming in the Dark, and The Institute, among others.

On her site, Lipa elaborated a little more about her book club, saying, “After months of planning, I am so proud to announce the Service95 Book Club, launching later this month! Words cannot express how thrilled I am—sharing the joy of reading is something I feel really passionately about, so this is a dream come true.”

She added that “to celebrate the launch, this week’s issue is a books special, including a piece by Douglas Stuart–author of June’s Book of the Month, Shuggie Bain–about the images that inspired the novel. This story of a young boy growing up with an alcoholic mother in 1980s Glasgow totally won my heart, and I can’t wait for us to explore it together.” You can read more here.
