Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Were Photographed Showing PDA Amid Reconciliation Rumors

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello continued to add to public speculation they could be back together when they were photographed embracing and being affectionate this week while waiting in line for a comedy show at Hollywood Improv on Melrose Ave. The photo agency reported that from there, the pair returned to the Sunset Tower Hotel. The two complemented each other sartorially, both wearing white tops. Cabello wore a black jumper over hers, while Mendes paired his white turtleneck with khaki pants.

Mendes and Cabello first sparked reconciliation rumors when they were seen kissing at Coachella last month. A source most recently explained to Entertainment Tonight on April 25 that Mendes and Cabello aren’t officially dating again yet, but they are exploring the possibility.

“Shawn and Camila aren’t officially back together, but they are enjoying each other’s company and seeing where things go,” the source said. “When they met up and kissed at Coachella, they were having fun and being in the moment together. They are both attracted to each other and care about one another a lot. They are having fun.”

Mendes and Cabello were longtime friends before they initially dated for two years. They announced their breakup in November 2021 with a joint statement posted to Instagram.

They shared then, “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever ❤️ We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward ❤️❤️❤️ Camila and Shawn.”
