Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Reportedly ‘Hang Out Every Week’ in ‘Fun,’ Casual Romance
People reported more detail on Wednesday about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s surprise romance. A “Jenner source” told the outlet that the two stars are hanging out with regularity, although their relationship is casual and low pressure.
“[They] hang out every week, [but] it’s not serious,” the source said. “She is getting to know him. Kylie is having fun. After years of back and forth with Travis [Scott], she just wants to date without any pressure.”
The source added that Jenner and Chalamet met earlier in 2023 during an event in Europe. (Footage has surfaced of them talking at Paris Fashion Week in late January. “They have a lot to chat about. [Chalamet] is fun and charming,” the source said.
Her family is very supportive of Jenner’s budding romance with Chalamet, the source added, and excited for her to date someone other than Scott, with whom Jenner has had a turbulent on-off relationship. Scott and Jenner share her two kids, five-year-old Stormi and one-year-old Aire. A source told People in January, when Scott and Jenner’s most recent split was reported, that “[it has] never been an easy relationship” and “there is a reason that they never got married. It’s always been very up and down. And they have never even lived together. They have always had separate homes.”
Chalamet is a welcome change, People‘s Jenner source said now: “Everyone wants Kylie to move on…Everyone in the family is happy and supportive of Kylie dating.”
People‘s update comes after Entertainment Tonight confirmed on April 17 that Jenner and Chalamet really are dating. “They are keeping things casual at this point,” Entertainment Tonight‘s source said. “It’s not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes. It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.”
The source added that “Timothée is also friends with Kendall, so it’s been easy for Kylie to integrate him into her life.”
