Rihanna Wore a Form-Fitting White Maternity Turtleneck and Low-Rise Skirt to Celebrate Fenty Beauty Release
Rihanna gave the world a generous, adorable look at her baby boy’s first Easter on her Instagram yesterday evening, while her makeup brand, Fenty Beauty, shared a look at Rihanna’s maternity style on its account. Rihanna, who is pregnant with her and A$AP Rocky’s second child, wore an all white look in the video. The singer paired a white form-fitting turtleneck with a low-rise white denim skirt and jacket. Her hair was styled half up, half down.
Rihanna made the appearance to announce a new Fenty Beauty release. As the account wrote in its caption, “@badgalriri heard y’all loud and clear ???? #GLASSSLIPPER just got a lil’ spicy ???? Rihanna teased another release in her British Vogue interview, published in February: Her highly anticipated ninth album, sometime this year. “I want it to be this year,” she said. “Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos.”
Rihanna has been recording new songs for years that she falls in and out of love with, and she admitted her own perfectionist tendency has been getting in the way of the album’s release. “I realized that if I keep waiting until this feels right and perfect and better, maybe it’s going to keep taking forever and maybe it’ll never come out and no, I’m not down to that,” she said. “So I want to play. And by play, I mean I have my ideas in my head, but I can’t say them out loud yet.”
