Zendaya and Tom Holland Were Photographed Holding Hands While Leaving Mumbai

Zendaya and Tom Holland opted not to make their red carpet debut as a couple at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre gala, but the two traveled in and out of India side-by-side. Paparazzi even captured the couple showing some affection and holding hands while on their way out of the city yesterday.

Holland shared an Instagram commemorating the couple’s time at the gala, writing, “Thank you to the Ambani family for inviting us to celebrate the opening of the @nmacc.india. A truly wonderful experience that I’ll never forget.”

Law Roach, Zendaya’s friend and image architect who just announced his retirement from celebrity styling, also shared his thanks to the family for inviting them to join, along with a behind-the-scenes look at their visit. “It was such an honor to be invited by the Ambani Family to celebrate the opening of @nmacc.india,” he wrote. “I took my main girl [Zendaya] to Mumbai! Both wearing @rahulmishra_7 and @bulgari styled by his team. What an incredible experience.”

Zendaya and Holland’s romance went public in summer 2021. While they are no longer hiding their relationship, they have also made a point not to go out of their way to publicly put it on display. Zendaya briefly addressed their stance on their love life in GQ‘s November 2021 profile on Holland.

Zendaya called the public interest in their romance then “quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive. The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own… I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
