Kaley Cuoco Shares Sweet Message Following the Birth of Her Baby Girl
On Saturday, Flight Attendant Kaley Cuoco announced the birth of her first child with her boyfriend Tom Pelphrey, an adorable baby girl. The 37-year-old actress shared photos of he infant all cozy in a hospital blanket with a tiny cap, sharing the baby’s name and that she was born on Thursday, March 30.
“Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!” she wrote. “We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”
Pelphrey also shared his own selection of photos on his timeline, clearly already a smitten papa.
“My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle,” he wrote in the caption. “Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible.”
The couple have shared many updates from throughout Cuoco’s pregnancy, clearly excited about becoming parents. A source previously told People she has been “very excited about having their baby and ready for the big day” and that she and Pelphrey are going strong.
“She is very much in love and gets along great with Tom which makes things even better. She has found her soulmate,” they shared, saying Cuoco was sure Pelphrey would be a “hands-on dad.”
“Kaley is comfortable about Tom as mate and father, comfortable about the big change the baby will have in their lives, and comfortable about her work,” said the source. “They are preparing for the arrival which isn’t far off. She is in a good place.”
Pelphrey himself gushed to Extra that they were “so excited” to be expecting.
“It’s the most incredible thing,” he said. “Very blessed… Very fortunate… Very lucky… Everybody’s healthy. It’s a beautiful thing.”
