Kendall, Kylie, Khloé, and Kim Kardashian Brought Bodycon and Sheer Dresses to the CFDA Awards

The Kardashian-Jenners, minus Kourtney Kardashian, showed up full force at last night’s CFDA Awards, where Kim was honored with the Amazon Innovation Award for her Skims shapewear line. So, how did the ladies of the family dress for one of the industry’s biggest nights? With a designer twist on their usual bodycon, sheer, and cutout dresses, naturally.

Kendall Jenner took a slightly more muted approach, bringing the sparkle in a plunging V-neck sleeveless white sequin dress by Khaite. She wore her dark hair straight and parted in the center.

Kylie Jenner was the most bombshell of the bunch, wearing a black dress with a high leg slit, sheer bodice, and gloves by Mugler. Momager Kris Jenner posed with Kylie, wearing a black caped Schiaparelli dress.

And Kim opted for a classic look: a slick Dolce & Gabbana latex bodycon gown. Her platinum hair was worn down and slicked back.

Kim mused about her rise in the fashion industry to Interview for its September issue, claiming she tries to dress in a way that’s attainable for others stylistically, even with her largely designer wardrobe.

“There’s so many people that I look at and I’m like, ‘Oh my god. I love how they dress.’ Or, ‘I love that. That’s so fresh,’” Kardashian said. “And then for me, I can find things that could be so simple, and that a lot of people, a lot of girls, can connect to—and that is very sellable. The things I wear seem realistic. There’s an easy way to find a similar item or a solution to wear something similar, and I think that may be what resonates. It feels attainable.”

Regarding her own street style, she added, “I trust myself in the sense of, I know what looks good, and I know what makes me feel really uncomfortable,” she said. “But, every once in a while, someone will be like, ‘Trust me. This looks good.’ Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn’t, and you just have to roll with it. It’s not that serious. I care a lot, but I also can’t let it consume me. Sometimes there’s bad angles, bad lighting. You can’t control it all.”
