Amal Clooney Stepped Out In Tiered Black Mini Dress For NYC Dinner Date With George

On Thursday, September 22, George Clooney and Amal Clooney were seen walking hand-in-hand on a date night in New York City, looking chic as they usually do. George was more casual in a dark blue polo and loose light jeans paired with grey suede boots. Amal elevated the evening with a black mini dress cut in tiers and covered in shimmering sequins.

She wore the dress with black heels with criss-cross ankle straps and gold toes, and carried a small black clutch. The human rights lawyer left her long dark hair down and wore subtle makeup and a pair of dangling earrings. She was smiling and glowing as they passed photographers.

The couple were photographed again the next day on their way to catch an Amtrak train. Amal was wearing a sleeveless ivory dress with a mock turtleneck collar and a pair of black knee-high boots. She was carrying a white purse with a long strap and wore oversized black sunglasses against the bright fall day. George was essentially wearing the same outfit as the night before and carrying a black leather jacket.

The couple has historically been rather private, but in March of this year Amal gave a rare interview to Time, sharing what their experience raising their four-year-old twins has been like.

“Marriage has been wonderful,” she said. “I have in my husband a partner who is incredibly inspirational and supportive, and we have a home filled with love and laughter.”

As to being a mother, it’s more than anything she’s ever experienced or expected.

“It is a joy beyond anything I could ever have imagined,” Amal explained. “I feel so lucky to have found a great love in my life, and to be a mother—this is how I get my balance.”
