Edo NUJ congratulates OBSERVER Newspapers for African Media Organization Award – Nigerian Observer

BENIN CITY – The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council has congratulated the management and staff of The Nigerian OBSERVER newspapers for emerging ‘Africa Media Organization Award Winner for 2022, courtesy of The Voice Achievers Award, Netherlands.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the union, Comrade Festus Alenkhe and Secretary, Andy Egbon, the union also congratulated the Editor of The Nigerian OBSERVER, Mr. Eubaldus Enahoro for being part of the success story of the newspaper.

According to the statement, The Nigerian OBSERVER newspaper being the longest surviving government-owned newspaper in Nigeria has carved a niche for itself in its 54 years of publication.

The statement therefore commended the General Manager, Ayegbeni Aino Balogun as well as the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Communication and Orientation and former General Manager of the newspaper organization, Sir Barr. Solomon Imohiosen for setting the template for the award and wished the OBSERVER family many more accolades in the journalism profession and blazing the trail with its online publication.
