This Footage of Angelina Jolie Doing the Electric Slide at Zahara’s College Sendoff Is Amazing
Angelina Jolie announced on Instagram that her oldest daughter Zahara is off to Spelman College this fall—and now, footage has emerged of Jolie celebrating the news with Zahara and other Los Angeles-area Spelman and Morehouse College student-bound families, via Entertainment Tonight. Zahara and Jolie attended a L.A. sendoff party for students starting at the HBCUs this fall.
Morehouse College shared a video of Jolie attempting to do the electric slide on Instagram. “We Love To See It!” the university wrote. “Angelina Jolie and Daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, Incoming Spelmanite freshman, dances with Morehouse and Spelman Alumni at the Los Angeles Send Off for Incoming Freshman Students. SpelHouse SendOff is the opportunity to show our incoming students a glimpse of the family they are joining! Be sure to tap into your local alumni chapter and parents council to stay connected!”
Jolie didn’t share the dance video on her own account, but she did post a photo of Zahara at the event. “Zahara with her Spelman sisters!” Jolie wrote. “Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl.”
Spelman College in Atlanta is the top-ranked historically black university or college in the country. Zahara is the second Jolie-Pitt kid to head off to college, and the first to study in the U.S. Her older brother Maddox has been studying at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, since August 2019. Footage surfaced of Jolie then, getting emotional while dropping Maddox off.
