Britney Spears’ Sons Will Miss Her Wedding, But Selena Gomez, Madonna, and More Are Attending
Britney Spears is marrying her fiancé Sam Asghari today, and more details on who will be among the 60 guests at the intimate wedding is emerging are the media. Missing the wedding will be Spears’ teenage sons—15-year-old Jayden James and 16-year-old Sean Preston—from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline. Federline released a statement on their absence through his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan to Entertainment Tonight.
“Although the boys will not be in attendance, Kevin and the boys are happy for Britney and wish her and Sam all the best going forward,” Kaplan said on behalf of Federline. “They are excited that this will be a positive development for her post-conservatorship life.”
“Kevin and the boys want her to be happy,” he added. “Hopefully this will be a key for her to be happy and remain happy going forward. They all feel that this is Britney and Sam’s day and nothing should take away from that.”
While Spears’ sons are skipping, some very high profile celebrity guests will be present. Multiple sources close to Spears and Asghari told People that attendees include Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Gomez and Spears had a public interaction last August, with Gomez inviting her to hang out via Instagram.
