Six months into dating Kim Kardashian, 28-year-old Pete Davidson is thinking about his future in a way he hasn’t before, Us Weekly reports. A source told the outlet that Kardashian has prompted the Saturday Night Live comedian to become more of an adult in terms of his actions and decisions. “Kim has also made Pete grow up in a big way and think about his future and business in a huge way,” the source said. “He’s investing, saving and thinking about longevity for the first time. He goes to Kris [Jenner] for advice.”

The source added that Kardashian and Davidson are doing well as a couple, especially since they went red carpet official at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. “Kim and Pete are even happier now that they can attend events together and be in public,” the source said. “They love spending as much time together as possible.”

The pair will be spending some time apart due to career demands, so they’re in the midst of preparing for the increased distance. “Pete has some movies coming up that he’ll be leaving to film, so they really have been spending as much time together as possible before he has to leave,” the source said.

Davidson has not appeared on The Kardashians, the family’s new reality show, and won’t during its first season. Kardashian did share her first impressions of Davidson in a recent episode though, as their romantic relationship started. “[He’s] surely the sweetest, nicest human being on the planet,” she told Scott Disick and Ellen DeGeneres at a party that The Kardashians’s crew filmed.
