Jennifer Lawrence Stuns in Cream Maxi Dress 2 Months After Welcoming Baby

Jennifer Lawrence has kept a relatively low profile since welcoming her first child with husband Cooke Maroney in February, but on Easter Sunday, the actress was spotted out, dressed sharply for spring. Lawrence was snapped with a black blazer, cream maxi dress, and scarf with friends and her husband. Her hair was in a low ponytail.

The group ate at Italian restaurant Chi Spacca in Los Angeles and spent two hours there, according to the photo agency.

Lawrence and Maroney opted not to release any information about their child’s birth, so the baby’s birthday, gender, and name are unknown—and may never be known, if J.Law can help it.

The actress told Vanity Fair in November that she intends to keep her child’s life private.

“If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’” she prefaced. “But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

She explained part of why she stepped back from acting in September 2017 was so she could build a life for herself outside the industry. She met Maroney during that time and got married. “I didn’t have a life. I thought I should go get one,” she said of the choice. “The attention on me was so high and extreme that, in a bizarre way, the set had become a great escape. Everybody treats you normally. It’s not like you walk into hair and makeup and people are like, ‘Oh, my God!’ But you get burnt out. Eventually I had to ask myself, ‘Am I saying yes because I want to go to work the next day? Or am I doing this because I want to make this movie?’”
