Edo College of Nursing Sciences: Old students applaud Obaseki for school’s upgrade, reopening – Nigerian Observer

BENIN CITY – The old students of the Edo State College of Nursing Sciences have applauded Governor Godwin Obaseki, for upgrading and reopening the state-owned health institution.

In a statement, leader of the old students’ association, Grace Enoma, said the College has been upgraded with state-of-the-art facilities to deliver nursing training in line with global best practices.

Enoma noted: “We, the old students of the Edo State School of Nursing, wish to express our profound gratitude and appreciation to the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki for the re-opening and upgrading of the school to College of Nursing Sciences with state-of-the-art facilities to deliver nursing training that complies with global best practice.”

Applauding the speed and remarkable commitment demonstrated by the governor from the beginning of the project to its completion, Enoma added, “Your avowed goal of ensuring that Edo citizens get the best is exemplified in your continuing unflinching commitment to a first-class health service to all its citizens.

“Our members, both at home and in the Diaspora, are committed to partnering with your government in ensuring that this is an institution of excellence.”

Hailing the governor for the developmental strides recorded in all sectors of the state, the alumni leader stated, “We wish His Excellency a resoundingly successful tenure of leadership that will be remembered for the giant strides and unparalleled level of development in Edo state.”
