Lady Gaga has been posting about her beauty brand, Haus Labs, here and there on Instagram but otherwise has been enjoying some time out of the public eye with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, and their baby girl, Rose. Sources gave People an update on how the new parents are doing with their little one.
“Gaga and Michael are truly in baby bliss,” a source explained. “They are savoring every moment [and] new milestone. They have been sending videos and pictures to close friends and family. Rose is so adorable and really looks like the perfect combination of both her parents.”
“Michael took a good amount of time off work and now has been back but working remotely a lot so he can be with Gaga and Rose,” the insider added.
A source also spoke about Gaga’s adjustment to parenthood, telling People, “Gaga has taken to being a mother so well. She is kind, protective, and loves singing to Rose. She has been singing ‘La Vie en Rose’ and nightly lullabies to her.”
News broke of Gaga and Polansky welcoming their daughter last month. The couple has not addressed the reports themselves.
In January 2025, Gaga spoke to ELLE about her hope to become a mother and what she’d want her children to understand about her career.
“I would want my children to understand that whatever my artistry means to them is totally up to them,” she said. “I would never actually want to shape it or tell them how to think about me. Maybe other than that I just did my best. And tried to stay true to myself along the way. That’s something Michael and I have talked about a lot—allowing our kids to be their own people. It’s such an intense thing for kids coming into the world. And they’re told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat…I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are.”
“My kid might one day say, ‘Mom, why do you do these things? I saw a funny video of you dressed up,’” Gaga added. “Most certainly, that will happen. And you know, maybe it’s okay to say, ‘What do you think?’”
