Selena Gomez rang in her 34th birthday in Italy today—and shared photos from the special day on Instagram. Gomez posted two snaps of her blowing out a birthday candle with the cityscape behind her.

Her husband, Benny Blanco, confirmed in her comments that he took the photos of her. “i love you,” he wrote in one comment, before adding in two others, “wait … i took this pic,” and “hey i’m looking at u in life right now baby.”

In her caption, Gomez shared her thoughts on turning 34 and encouraged fans to donate to the Rare Impact Fund, which supports youth mental health care access.

She wrote:

First, I have to thank you each of you immensely for your support, kindness and all the bday wishes. Every single day I get to create because of all of you. Thank you for always making me the happiest girlie in the world ???? ♥️

Little me would never believe I’d get to celebrate my birthday alongside 6 years of the Rare Impact Fund. My heart is so full today. Watching this community come together to support youth mental health has been the greatest gift, so thank YOU. Thank you for believing in this work and for being part of this journey—if you’d like to learn more and are able to, you can support the Rare Impact Fund by visiting the link in my bio. Blanco literally took a boat across the Atlantic Ocean to be with his wife for her birthday. (The music producer has a fear of flying.)

Gomez has been filming Only Murders in the Building’s sixth season in London. She traveled for her birthday, though, enjoying a meal out with Blanco at Trattoria della Santa in Bologna, Italy, yesterday. The restaurant’s owner Riccardo Lelli told People that they were wonderful guests.

“They were absolutely amazing, very lovely, good-hearted people,” he said. “They showered us with compliments for the food, for the service, and they were just great clients.”
