  • Charli XCX attended the BoF event at Paris Fashion Week.
  • The Brat singer wore a see-through white peasant dress.
  • She was married to husband George Daniel for a second time last month in Italy.

On Saturday, Charli XCX attended the Business of Fashion gala at Paris Fashion Week. The Brat singer wore a gauzy see-through peasant dress in white made of semi-sheer fabric that revealed her figure underneath. The gown featured billowy sleeves that slid down over her hands and an asymmetrical hemline that rose above her knees before trailing down to the ground behind her.

The pop star wore the look with black pointed-toe heels and left her hair down in beachy waves. She had on a natural makeup palette and nude lip.

Charli recently celebrated her second wedding ceremony to George Daniel, a member of The 1975 band. The couple were first married in London at Hackney Town Hall in July, but brought all of their friends to Sicily for another celebration in September.

To the second wedding, Charli wore a sheer white wedding gown with spaghetti straps, a short V-neckline, and a floor-length skirt with a train. She later changed into a short white skirt and black bra for the after-party.

On October 3, Taylor Swift released her newest album, The Life of a Showgirl, which is rumored to contain a track referring to Charli XCX. Both Charli and Daniel are friends with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, who Swift dated before Travis Kelce. Some fans believed that Brat’s “Sympathy Is a Knife” was about Swift, which Charli dismissed in an August 2024 interview with New York Magazine.

“People are going to think what they want to think,” she said. “That song is about me and my feelings and my anxiety and the way my brain creates narratives and stories in my head when I feel insecure and how I don’t want to be in those situations physically when I feel self-doubt.”

Swift’s seventh track on the new album, “Actually Romantic,” seemingly alludes to her breakup with Healy and Charli’s reaction to the relationship, as well as a response to Charli’s song. Swift sings:

“I heard you call me ‘Boring Barbie’ when the coke’s got you brave / High-fived my ex and then said you’re glad he ghosted me / Wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face/ Some people might be offended / But it’s actually sweet / All the time you’ve spent on me.”
