Zara’s Cobalt Blue Cardigan Is an Elevated Way to Bring Color Into Your Wardrobe

Looking to update your fall wardrobe? We’re at the time of year when the temperature has dropped, the nights are darker, but the sun is (often) indeed still shining. With that in mind, it can be difficult to know what to throw on in the mornings. Short sleeves or long? Knitwear or lightweight?

Sometimes, your only option is to go for something that ticks both boxes in one, and this chic knit from Zara could do just the trick. In an elevated cobalt blue shade, the “Knot Knit Cardigan” adds a pop of color to any outfit and looks particularly good when styled with white jeans or black trousers.

The electric blue hue was seen at fall/winter 2026 shows for Givenchy, Chanel, and Stella McCartney’s collections—as well as in multiple street style looks at recent New York and Copenhagen Fashion Weeks. Likewise, during London Fashion Week—which is now drawing to a close—the spring/summer 2027 collections proved that the shade isn’t going anywhere any time soon. At Ahluwalia, an asymmetric silk top and a maxi-skirt-and-top set were both realized in a shimmering cobalt, while at LABRUM, a sheer vest top with accompanying scarf was also rendered in the electric shade. Alexander McQueen’s return to London saw tulle skirts frothing with bright blue, and at Roksanda, a pair of cobalt fringed shoes made a case for the color across accessories as well as apparel.

With that in mind, the eye-popping shade is set to dominate the streets this season, and this piece is ideal for incorporating some of the action into your wardrobe.

The cardigan features a soft collar, buttons down the front, and short puff sleeves at the shoulders, in addition to an adjustable hem with a knot detail that you can tie. Plus, it is priced at $50. Shop it below.
