Meghan Markle gave fans the first personal look at her new chapter in the U.K. last month. Now, her close friend Kelly McKee Zajfen is shedding more light on Meghan and Prince Harry’s life in England. Zajfen visited the couple with her son Jack. She shared a carousel of photos from her trip, including shots of Meghan holding Jack and Harry playing with him.
Zajfen wrote about how much it meant to experience the U.K. with her “bestie,” Meghan, in her caption. She also gave some insight into how Meghan feels about her move back to Harry’s home country.
Zajfen shared, “Having the best time. ???? There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie, and having my sweet Jack along for the adventure. I’ve loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes and daily adventures! Especially getting to experience so many little firsts with Jack by my side. Family time is just what the heart ordered. With a side of mashed peas and fish n chips! All of it has filled my heart. ???????? you’ve been so good to us. We’re leaving with full hearts and definitely leaving a piece of ours here. ???? To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend ???? It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too! Cheerio!”
A source told People earlier this month that Meghan and Harry are enjoying being back in Britain.
An insider said that their biggest priority has been getting their children, Archie and Lilibet, settled into their new home. “There is a lot to do,” the source said. “They have just moved halfway across the world, and it’s been really busy getting the kids settled. Their focus has been on that, and will remain on that, for the time being. They are happy to be back.”
The couple’s rep confirmed last month that their move would be temporary and that they have kept their home in Montecito, California, and their vacation property in Portugal.
“On the heels of a wonderful trip with family and friends this summer, Harry and Meghan have decided to spend an extended period in the U.K. this autumn,” the spokesperson told The New York Times in a statement. “They are excited to have their children spend more time in the country that’s such an important part of their family’s story.”
