Kylie Jenner Shares the Perfume She Always Wears Courtside

It has been only two years since the launch of Kylie Jenner’s first fragrance, Cosmic, and now comes the “Mood Stones Fragrance Collection.” Featuring three distinct fragrances, this collection was designed to offer a scent for every mood. “I wanted Mood Stones to be an embodiment of my versatility, and for people to be able to honor how they feel in the moment,” says Jenner. The collection includes Cashmere Muse, a floral, musky scent with notes of bergamot, mandarin, and tonka bean; Blush Wood, a soft, romantic fragrance with notes of apple, honeysuckle, and vanilla; and Velvet Brew, a bold, amber scent with hazelnut, coffee, and patchouli notes.

Similar to the original Cosmic scent, each perfume is housed in a smooth, sculptural vessel—this time designed to mimic the shape of stones. To celebrate the launch, we chatted with Jenner about the new Mood Stones collection, astrology, and her favorite scent to wear courtside.

How do you match each scent to your mood? What’s the best occasion to wear each fragrance?

Cashmere Muse is my go-to for when I feel really calm and serene, and it has this clean, fresh, floral, musky scent. Blush Wood is a woody floral that feels very flirty and romantic, and Velvet Brew is an ambery spice that I wear when I’m feeling bold and confident. I love that there’s truly something for everyone!

What is your favorite memory connected to a specific scent?

Scents are very tied to memory for me, and I have so many core memories tied to fragrance. Floral perfumes are especially nostalgic for me—growing up, my mom had the most beautiful array of fragrances, and I can still smell them to this day. Fragrance has this incredible power to take you back to a specific moment or instantly shift your mood.

What are your summer travel must-haves?

I love our Cloud Balm—it doubles as an everyday balm and an intense daily lip mask. It’s super lightweight and melts right into the lips for instant moisture, and it has a really yummy vanilla cake flavor.

Do you feel connected to your astrological sign? Why?

I’m a true Leo to my core! I definitely think I embody Leo traits. As a kid, I loved being the center of attention and wasn’t afraid of anything.

What is your favorite scent to wear to a sports night out?

I really like to wear bold outfits in my team’s colors to show support—and I think Velvet Brew is the perfect fragrance for this. It feels really bold and confident, which matches that high-energy game night vibe.
