On Friday, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce finally tied the knot. The couple was married at Madison Square Garden in front of over 1,000 guests. Despite the venue’s central location, security kept a tight lockdown on photos and information, but some details from the event have started circulating. Including the magical way they exchanged their vows.

A source speaking with People shared details from the night, saying, “Taylor walked down the aisle to a stage where they said ‘I do,’” adding that “their vows were about 20 minutes each,” and the pop star and NFL player read the words to each other from gold books. An embroidered handkerchief was handed out to each guest, just in case they got emotional. Maren Morris shared a photo of the special favor in her collection of pictures from the night.

The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, who reportedly sang an original song that “was humorous yet touching and was all about their love,” according to another source speaking with TMZ.

“After the ceremony, Taylor’s mom invited everyone into the reception room where a stage was set up,” People’s source continued, sharing that Paul McCartney performed “I Want to Hold Your Hand” from The Beatles catalog, and Stevie Nicks also sang during the reception.

“It looked like a forest,” the insider described the decor, saying there were ferns and trees placed around the white-covered seats in the arena.

Food at the reception included Italian cuisine, sushi, and “there were bars everywhere.”

But, despite MSG’s capacity, “It was very crowded!”
