Today in Berlin, Zendaya traded preppy Americana for sleek leather just hours after stepping out in a sporty Coach look. At a Spider-Man: Brand New Day fan event, the actress wore a black two-piece ensemble featuring a cropped leather top and coordinating low-rise skirt with a floor-sweeping train. She accessorized with statement blue earrings, while her husband and co-star, Tom Holland, coordinated in a dark suit layered over a bright red shirt and tie.
Their looks also appeared to contain clever references to the film they were there to promote. Zendaya’s Lydia Courteille earrings featured a web-like motif, while Holland’s tie was finished with a small spider embellishment.
Zendaya’s all-black ensemble marked a departure from some of the brighter looks she’s worn throughout the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour, including the red Coach jersey-inspired outfit she debuted earlier in the day.
The Berlin appearances also come shortly after a major milestone in the couple’s relationship. Earlier this month, Holland publicly confirmed that he and Zendaya had secretly married after years of speculation. Speaking to Esquire UK, the actor shared, “We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else. So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
