During Justin Bieber’s headlining set at Coachella on Saturday night, some expected guests were seen in the audience: for instance, his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their close friends, Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Less conspicuously, a masked Timothée Chalamet was there, joining his girlfriend, Kylie, and their friend, actor Jacob Elordi.
Clips from the event’s livestream showed Jenner next to the masked Chalamet, grooving along to Justin’s set, where he sang a medley of his older hits, like “Baby,” “Never Say Never,” and “Confident.” He later performed newer songs from his albums Swag and Swag II.
Kylie posted about her visit to the annual music festival a number of times throughout the weekend, including shots of her in a green shirt featuring Justin’s face. She wore it with black pants and blue Skylrk shoes, Bieber’s fashion brand.
The Kylie Beauty brand founder told ELLE UK in 2015 of her friendship with Justin, “I’m so close to him because I feel like he’s been through exactly what I’ve been through in a completely different way but very similar. So, he’s just…he just…he gets me, and every time I see him he always sits me down and is like, ‘Are you okay? You’re amazing. You can get through this, just stay true to yourself.’ He helps me a lot.”
The Kardashians star has been less forthcoming about her relationship with Chalamet. The couple prefers to keep things fairly private, though they have made a number of red carpet appearances this past year.
In January, a source told Us Weekly that they now “basically” live together.
“Kylie has never dated someone like him, and it’s been refreshing because they have a very easy chill relationship,” the insider said. “They basically live together at this point. Kylie will stay at his house when she doesn’t have the kids, or when she wants to be in the city, and he spends a lot of time at her house in Hidden Hills.”
