How Tom Holland Supported Zendaya on The Drama’s Release Day
THE RUNDOWN
- Tom Holland posted a tribute to his partner, Zendaya, to celebrate The Drama’s release.
- The post came hours after Zendaya wore two “something blue” gowns for the film’s New York City premiere and after-party.
- Holland previously posted about her film on Instagram, writing, “Believe me when I say it’s gonna floor you.”
Zendaya’s partner, Tom Holland, found a sweet—and very public—way to support her as The Drama comes out today: with his second Instagram tribute to her and the film. The Spider-Man actor posted a teaser of the movie on his Instagram Story, writing, “The Drama is out today. I couldn’t be more excited!”
Weeks before on March 21, he posted an Instagram with the poster of the film and its trailer. “I honestly couldn’t be more excited for you to see this movie and believe me when I say it’s gonna floor you,” he wrote. “Get your tickets now!” His Instagram got over 4.4 million likes:
While Holland was with Zendaya for the Paris premiere of The Drama, the actor chose not to pose on the red carpet of the event. In January 2025, he told Men’s Health that he generally keeps a low profile at her events “because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
Zendaya had her last big event for The Drama in New York City yesterday evening. The actress, who had been wearing dresses that fit the classic wedding tradition of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” finished her press tour with two “something blue” looks at the film’s premiere and after-party.
She ended her night in a slinky halterneck dress from Di Pesta’s fall/winter 2026 collection. The halter portion of the dress was sheer and had embroidered wave patterns:
The Euphoria actress accessorized with a pair of simple black pumps and diamond and sapphire jewelry by Tiffany & Co.
Earlier that night, Zendaya wore a show-stopping Schiaparelli’s spring 2026 haute couture ball gown for the premiere. The dress featured black and blue ombré feathers and a tiered skirt with a subtle train.
Her stylist, Law Roach, revealed that Zendaya wore hyperrealistic bird heels that matched the feathers of her dress on his Instagram Story:
For the March 26 premiere of The Drama in Rome, Zendaya wore “something borrowed”: a black Giorgio Armani Privé gown that was originally designed for and worn by Cate Blanchett.
The actress channeled old Hollywood glam for her “something new” look in Paris: a custom Louis Vuitton gown with a giant black bow that extended into a carpet-grazing train.
For her “something old” look, the 29-year-old went into her fashion archives, attending the Los Angeles premiere in a white, off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown that she previously wore to the Oscars in 2015:
