THE RUNDOWN

  • Zendaya and Tom Holland weren’t photographed at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
  • The actress made a surprise appearance at the end of the Oscars.
  • The couple was out and about during Oscar weekend as Zendaya continues her press tour for The Drama.

Zendaya and Tom Holland were out at separate events on Saturday night. While she did press for The Drama in Las Vegas, he attended WME’s pre-Oscar party that same evening. But on Oscars night, only Zendaya made an appearance at the ceremony, serving as a presenter with her co-star Robert Pattinson for the Best Director category.

Her night appeared to end there; neither she nor Holland was photographed at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Currently, no photos of them at any other after-parties have surfaced. The pair appeared to opt for a low-key evening after their busy weeks.

Zendaya is gearing up for the release of The Drama on April 3. In honor of the wedding-themed film, she has worn a series of white dresses in looks styled by Law Roach. She made headlines Thursday when she stepped out at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Cachè’s iconic white minidress—a style first made famous by Whitney Houston, then later Sarah Jessica Parker in the first Sex and the City movie.

The star hasn’t been to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in years, last attending in 2022. She wore menswear at the time, opting for a Sportmax suit:

Holland, meanwhile, last went to the party in 2018, wearing a burgundy suit:

The longtime couple rarely poses on red carpets together. They most recently did so for a joint project: Spider-Man: No Way Home. They attended the Los Angeles premiere together in December 2021.

Holland explained to Men’s Health in January 2025 that he generally avoids doing red carpets with Zendaya for her premieres “because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”

Zendaya recently spoke to Pattinson for Interview about how she is still finding the balance between what parts of her life she shares and which she keeps private. “At the end of the day, you’re a public figure, there’s nothing you can do [to stop public interest], but some things are meant for yourself and for your loved ones,” she began. “And then also allowing for that space between the anonymity of you, so that you can play someone else and they won’t necessarily always put you in—I mean, we just talked about being eloquent. Here I am stumbling over my words, trying to explain what I’m trying to say. But I do try to have privacy, not just for characters, but for me in real life. I try to be honest to who I am when I am in public, but I also try to keep things for myself.”
