Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco didn’t step out on the red carpet for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night. The actress was active on social media during the evening and morning after the Academy Awards though, teasing that she was busy with her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, which was hosting an event in New York City.
On Monday morning, she announced that Rare Beauty is releasing a matte foundation that Gomez has secretly been wearing for months:
Gomez last attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in 2025, wearing a custom black sequin Armani Privé gown and accessorizing with a dramatic Bulgari necklace.
It was her first time at the event since 2016:
The star was generally active on Instagram this past weekend, sharing a gallery of never-before-seen photos on Saturday that included new shots of her cuddling up with Blanco:
Gomez appeared on his podcast Friends Keep Secrets earlier this month and discussed their wedding day.
Blanco recalled how it felt when they exchanged vows, saying, “It was so crazy because I was listening, but we were also having like our own moment. We were like laughing, crying, talking. Like I, it was—”
Gomez added, “I know the whole time I remember just staring at no one else but you, and I just kept going, ‘It’s okay, we got this.’ I don’t remember a single word that was uttered other than Dave’s [their officiant Lil Dicky’s] speech.”
She reflected more broadly on the ceremony, saying, “I do feel super blessed that we had it the way that I wanted. We were so locked in. And we were united, but it was just really—I just remember all I could do was look at him, and I’d be like, ‘It’s crazy we’re doing it.’ It was fun.”
“It was the best moment of my life,” Blanco admitted.
