Demna’s First Collection With Gucci Is Already Available to Shop Online

Demna debuted his first collection as creative director at Gucci only last week, but some pieces are already available to shop online. Models like Emily Ratajkowski and Amelia Gray strutted down the Milan runway in ’90s-esque skintight dresses and heavy dark eye makeup. And while typically we would have to wait at least six months to get our hands on a runway collection, right now a limited selection is already available to shop, just seven days after the debut.

While the official launch of the entire collection won’t hit stores until July 2026, so many key pieces are already available, including the horsebit-adorned shoulder bags we ogled from the runway, alongside boots and loafers. The collection, called Primavera, illustrates the new direction Demna is taking with the Italian heritage brand, after his long stint at Balenciaga. “Primavera establishes a new vocabulary of silhouettes, textures, and materials, expressing the product design ethos at the core of Gucci,” the brand said in a statement. “It informs ideas of lightness, ease, comfort, and body-aware silhouettes, driven by rigorous product development that has allowed the House to create the ultimate seamless garments and pieces cut as close as possible to the body, a quintessentially Gucci sensibility.”

While we will have to wait a bit longer to get our hands on the low-backed dresses and statement jackets that made headlines from the Gucci runway, it’s extremely unusual–and for us, exciting–to get to shop the collection so soon after its debut.
