Sarah Sherman spends half her life on the phone, so she really shouldn’t be surprised when her friends pick up in this episode of “Phoning It In.” The Saturday Night Live and Sarah Squirm: Live + In the Flesh star puts her improv skills to work as she convinces Chloe Fineman she was let go over a live TV nip slip, tells David Spade she’s outside his house, and sends Marcello Hernández into panic mode claiming she’s locked in Lorne Michaels’s bathroom, a bit she also tries on Bowen Yang, who’s endured this routine too many times to be fooled again.
