On Thursday, Selena Gomez shared a peek into her New Year’s Eve with husband Benny Blanco, their first since tying the knot in September 2025. In an Instagram Story, the musical star shared a video of midnight, when she and her friends celebrated by cheering, cheers-ing, and kissing in the swank indoor venue.
The video ended with Gomez and Blanco sharing a romantic kiss. Blanco is wearing a gray crewneck shirt with a festive cone hat and Gomez has on a black top. Over the image, Gomez wrote, “Happy new year!!! 2026 let’s go,” adding a champagne emoji.
In another Story, Gomez shared a closer look at her ensemble for the night. The Only Murders in the Building star was wearing a sleeveless black furry pullover with a plunging neckline. Underneath, she appeared to have on a sheer nude bandeau top. Her hair was up in a sleek bun and her marquise diamond ring was visible on one hand. Behind Gomez, a roaring fire was lit, illuminating her natural makeup palette with a soft warm glow.
The couple has been enjoying the holiday season. Gomez shared more photos on her timeline of some fun they shared at a winter chateau blanketed in snow. In a video, she and Blanco went tubing with friends. They also enjoyed cocktails, fuzzy pants, and some gorgeous mountain scenery.
Before the new year, Gomez posted images and videos from their first Christmas as a married couple, decorating trees and their home together.
In November, during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Gomez talked about how she’s been experiencing being married after Lowe stated that life improves after meeting “your person.”
Gomez replied, “I definitely can agree to that,” then added that being married to Blanco “has been such a dream so far, and I know it will come with ebbs and flows, but it’s the most beautiful person I could do that with.”
