Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Thanksgiving 2025 Plans: Everything We Know
THE RUNDOWN
- Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are about to celebrate their first Thanksgiving as an engaged couple.
- Kelce has a public commitment: a football game.
- A source spoke to Us Weekly last month about the couple’s holiday plans.
Travis Kelce has public plans this Thanksgiving: an away game. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, starting at 4:30 P.M. ET.
What’s less clear is whether his fiancée, Taylor Swift, will be at the sporting event. The singer has not attended any away games this season or last, in part due to security concerns. For most of this year, Kelce and Swift have kept a low profile—and the pair isn’t likely to share their exact Turkey Day plans publicly.
Last Thanksgiving, they managed to keep their celebration private, though People later reported that Swift hosted their families in Nashville.
While the couple has flown under the radar most of 2025, a source told Us Weekly on October 29 that they are gearing up to celebrate the holiday season together.
“It will be very low-key, family-centric, and [won’t involve any] major travel,” the source said. The outlet wrote that the two stars were reportedly “planning to split time with their respective families.”
Kelce has a game on Christmas day too, though it is a home one. (Swift attended his 2023 Christmas game with her family, but she has kept a low profile whenever she has attended his home games this year.)
The source added, “Travis fits right in with her family, and Taylor adores [his mom] Donna. They talk all the time. They make sure to see both sides as often as they can. They are super family-oriented, and they have always loved that about one another.”
Last December, People got rare insight into how the pair spent Thanksgiving in Nashville. “Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families,” a source said. “It’s the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together.”
Swift will be back in the spotlight soon as she gears up to release her Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era and a concert film documenting her last Eras Tour performance on December 12. Two episodes of the six-part docuseries will be released each week through December 26.
The singer recently teased how excited she was for fans to view the project on Instagram: “Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage. ‘The End of an Era,’ a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries, streams on @disneyplus beginning Dec 12 ????” The series trailer contains clips of her and Kelce, hinting that fans will see an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at their love story as well.
This is Kelce and Swift’s first holiday season as an engaged couple; the Kansas City tight end proposed to her this summer.
