Inside a Glamorous Evening at We Are All Human’s 5th Annual Gala

Last night, the We Are All Human Foundation took over Cipriani Wall Street for its fifth annual Gala, hosting an evening of entertainment and connection that celebrated Latino entrepreneurs, entertainers, and influencers across multiple industries.

The evening was co-chaired by ELLE editor-in-chief Nina Garcia, Advertising Week’s Lord Matt Scheckner, Miss Universe president Raúl Rocha, and Marissa Solis, SVP of global brand marketing at the NFL. Claudia Romo Edelman, founder and CEO of the We Are All Human Foundation, delivered a speech that moved the audience to both laughter and tears.

“The new Latino is emerging, one that is self-aware and empowered,” Edelman told the crowd. “After so many years, you now know who you are and you don’t let others define you—you even brought Bad Bunny to the Super Bowl!”

She continued, “Access is gold. Through our global events, we have brought the Latino agenda to the world’s most influential rooms.”

Guests were treated to tequila, roast beef filet, and a glittering performance by Cirque du Soleil. The event wasn’t just a fun party, either—the gala raised money for We Are All Human’s initiatives “dedicated to advancing equity, unity, and collective progress.”

This has recently included the publication of 16 bilingual books for children, the Hispanic Leadership Summit, a Hispanic Delegation to Davos, and creating a wildly popular series of toolkits for business owners.

The gala was also an opportunity to support and honor members of the community, including business titan Gabriel de Alba, marketing executive Rita Ferro, journalist Bret Stephens, and astronaut Dr. Ellen Ochoa—the first Hispanic woman in space. This was the first night the CMO Hall of Fame award was handed out as well, an honor focusing on the achievements of five female executives working with companies like Gap, TikTok, and the NFL.
