Ben Affleck Spent Christmas With Jennifer Garner and Kids Following Jennifer Lopez Split

This year was Ben Affleck’s first Christmas since his split from Jennifer Lopez and the actor spent the holiday with his former wife, Jennifer Garner, and their kids, Violet, Fin, and Samuel, People reports.

“Jen and Ben were all together for Christmas,” a source shared on December 30, adding that “it’s all for the kids.”

They continued, “Jen grew up surrounded by her family for the holidays, and she wants the same for her kids.”

Affleck and Garner also spent Thanksgiving Day together, volunteering at The Midnight Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair with their children, helping to feed homeless people in Los Angeles.

“They truly enjoy giving back to their community and cherishing quality time together as a family,” a source said at the time. A second source added that Garner “just wants her kids to be happy.”

“She will continue to make sure that they spend time together as a family and include Ben,” they explained. “The kids enjoy when they all spend time together…Jen’s grateful that Ben’s doing well. They are friends, but that’s it.”

Garner is currently in a relationship with John Miller. They dated briefly before breaking up in 2019, then reconnected in 2021, remaining together ever since.

Affleck reconnected with Lopez 20 years after they were first engaged, and they got married in 2022. In August, J.Lo filed for divorce. They seemingly have maintained a friendship and even met for brunch at Soho House to exchange gifts for Christmas earlier this month. Affleck presented Lopez with “an autographed Marlon Brando book.” Lopez then went on to enjoy the holiday in Aspen with her sister Lydia, niece Lucie, and one of her twins, Emme.

For New Year’s, Lopez shared a video on Instagram of her year, declaring that the “best is yet to come.”

She added in a voice over, “I am very proud of how I handle all the things… In my low moments, I’ve learned to just feel the feelings and then let them go.”
