Margot Robbie Swaps Her Signature Barbie Locks for a Strawberry-Blonde Hairdo With Bangs

Margot Robbie has officially stepped out of her Barbie era and is moving on to new, different roles. One of her upcoming projects is the film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey alongside Colin Farrell, and she took on a big makeover for the part. Much like the famous fashion doll, Robbie has rocked long, bright blonde hair for a couple of years now, but in a behind-the-scenes photo snapped on set, the actress debuted a light ginger shade of blonde with blunt bangs.

She was dressed in a navy blue long-sleeve top tucked into light-wash, wide-leg capris. She also wore brown suede knee-high boots. Her newly-colored locks were tied into a half-up, half-down style.

Any details on the plot of A Big Bold Beautiful Journey have yet to be released to the public, but according to Deadline, it is “an imaginative tale of two strangers and the unbelievable journey that connects them.”

Robbie is booked and busy. Not only is she the leading lady in this upcoming romance film, she is also set to produce five movies, according to her IMDb page, including The Sims.

On March 20, Variety reported that Robbie would be producing a movie adaptation of the popular video game series, with Loki producer Kate Herron set to direct and co-write it with Briony Redman. (Herron will direct an episode of The Last of Us season 2, too.)

A source told Variety that the movie is still very early on in development, so many details, like casting, plot, and the studio that will be distributing it, are still unknown.
