Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Held Hands During a NYC Lunch Date

Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, spent Easter weekend together in New York. The couple was spotted leaving Sadelle’s restaurant in Soho on Saturday, where they had brunch. Affleck was photographed holding the door open for Lopez as she stepped out behind him.

For their afternoon outing, J.Lo wore a fitted, wool blazer over a brown striped sweater with wide-leg jeans and platform peep-toe pumps. She wore her hair in a bun and carried a brown crocodile Hermès Birkin bag.

Affleck walked alongside Lopez, holding her hand. He wore a Nirvana graphic tee, which he layered under a flannel and a Carhartt jacket. He kept his look casual with black jeans and black and white Off-White sneakers.

In some of the photos, Lopez appeared to swap her blazer for a long, black trench coat.

Their Saturday date comes after a Friday outing in the city. For that stroll, Lopez slipped on a soft-gray trench coat, which she tied at the waist. She wore chocolate-brown stiletto knee-high boots, and carried the same brown Birkin bag. To complete her look, the “Mad In Love” singer tied her hair into a high ponytail and added tinted aviator sunglasses.

Affleck opted for a simple outfit then. The actor wore a navy-blue peacoat with dark-wash jeans and Nike sneakers. He carried a black briefcase.

Lopez spoke in her documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, about how Affleck changed the way she saw herself. “What he said and what he saw in me, what he made me believe about myself, only comes from love,” she told her team at one point in the film. “Because nobody else could make me see that about myself. It’s very moving. I didn’t think much of myself and so the world didn’t think much of me. That lined up. [He was like,] ‘This is how it is. See it. Believe it.’ I was like, ‘Okay.’”
