Kylie Jenner Addresses Speculation That Dating Timothée Chalamet Changed Her Style

Kylie Jenner gave The New York Times a candid interview this week, where she touched on her businesses, evolving style, and stance on the public’s commentary on her appearance. Jenner did not talk about her love life or relationship with Timothée Chalamet, but she did address fans’ speculation that her “clean girl” aesthetic or style “makeunder” was a result of her dating him.

She shared that she does not read comments on posts unrelated to her businesses. As for the Chalamet style theory, she said, “I don’t know how I feel about that. I just don’t want to talk about personal things.”

Jenner shared that her personal style really began changing one year ago, partly as she settled back into herself after welcoming her second child, Aire, on Feb. 2, 2022.

“It takes me a while after I have a baby to feel like myself again,” she shared. “Then you get your body back, and you’re like, ‘Wait, the trends have changed.’”

She also addressed her feelings on how the public reacts to her. “When you share so much, you open yourself up to more comments and more people’s opinions of your life,” she said.

She added that she has made peace with the fact people are going to talk about her appearance after spending the majority of her life in the spotlight. The comments do not affect her anymore: “It’s just years and years of not feeling like my face or looks are accepted,” she said. “There’s nothing anyone could ever say now that would hurt me.”
