Katy Perry Takes on the Barbiecore Trend in a Pink Sequin Feather Dress

Valentine’s Day may have come and gone, but Katy Perry is sending everyone a reminder that February is still the month of love. Yesterday, the singer posted a couple of photos to her Instagram grid showing off the look she wore to her latest concert. She channeled Barbiecore in a baby-pink feather midi dress adorned with sparkling sequins, which she paired with pointed-toe slingback heels in the same color, and lots of diamond jewelry, including a standout dangling earrings.

For her hair, Perry opted for a retro half-up-half-down style, and her makeup was bright and glowy with shimmering pink eyeshadow and pink lipstick.

“Sending you ????,” she captioned her post.

On Friday, February 23, Perry supported Taylor Swift at The Eras Tour in Sydney, Australia. She attended the show with singer Rita Ora, and the two had a blast singing and dancing along to Swift’s songs, including “Bad Blood.”

Perry even stopped backstage after the show, snapping a selfie with Swift herself.

She shared a dump to her Instagram, documenting the girls’ night out.

“Got to see an old friend shine tonight ????✨,” she wrote in the caption.

For the show, Perry wore an ultra-cropped pinstripe vest with matching wide-leg pants, completing the look with chunky loafers, black aviator glasses, and a stack of necklaces and bracelets.

Perry attending Swift’s concert may have come as a surprise to many, as the pop stars may have had a little feud beginning back in 2014, but she’s proving that there’s no “Bad Blood” between them.
