Millie Bobby Brown Wore a Little White Dress, Sparkly Trench, and Tiara for Her 20th Birthday Party

Millie Bobby Brown celebrated her 20th birthday—and the end of her teen years—in the most New York way, having dinner at Cathédrale restaurant and sweets at Serendipity 3. Rather than going for a classic little black dress ensemble, Brown leaned into bridal white. The actress shared photos of herself in a white strapless minidress, a tiara for good measure, and a sparkly, cream trench coat. She posed with white balloons in one shot at Serendipity for a true, Instagram-ready pic.

Brown shared a full carousel of images from her celebration on Instagram, giving fans a closer look at her dress without the coat. “the best time ???? @cathedralenewyork,” Brown wrote.

Brown’s fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, appeared in a shot with her. He shared his own photo of them, with him kissing her on the cheek. “Happy birthday my beautiful fiancé,” he wrote on Instagram. “I love you so much. Big year ahead ????”

New York appears to be a little getaway trip for Brown, who has been filming the final season of Stranger Things since January. She spoke to Glamour in October about being ready to wrap that chapter of her life.

“When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’” she said. “Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye.’”

The show has given her “the tools and the resources to be a better actor,” she said, sharing that she will not be mourning the show once it wraps. “When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people.”
